PlyQuet Holzimport GmbH was founded in 1996 by Mr. Michael Lucas in Bremen/Germany. Exclusive sales of parquet, plywood and furniture components, made mostly in Indonesia, have been the initial activity. As sales in Europe increased, the PlyQuet Group became a very proficient company with now three locations in Germany, Spain and the USA. When customers demand articles made from European species, PlyQuet took the challenge and supplied our partners in Asia with these species. Together with our partners we then grew to a highly professional trader maintaining mutual relations with forest governments and sawmills as well as our customers oversee.
The products we trade, generate from European forests, which are maintained for centuries as a sustainable source for wooden materials. Meaning that availability of wood from Europe is relatively even every year. As demand for wood is growing worldwide it is most crucial to every manufacturer to secure the supply of wooden raw materials. Due to our experienced personnel, coming from different areas in the woodworking and forest industry, we understand your demand and find the best solution for you. Beech, European Oak, European Ash and European Red Oak


All of these species show variations in colour, grain and technical properties due to their harvest area. Here we know exactly what will fit into your production. We carefully select the right logging area and/or sawmill supplying the right program.
